🤝 Thank You to the Spanish Rubber Consortium for an Outstanding General Assembly
Last week, we had the pleasure of attending the Spanish Rubber Consortium General Assembly in Pamplona on behalf of LESOL.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to the Spanish Rubber Consortium, its Director José Luis Rodríguez, the Board of Directors, and all its members for their outstanding work in supporting and representing the rubber industry.
It was a highly productive event where we discussed many of the key challenges and opportunities that will shape the future of our sector, including:
✅ New environmental regulations (EUDR, Packaging Regulation, REACH and Product Stewardship).
✅ The impact of sustainability and CO₂ emissions on raw materials such as carbon black.
✅ Occupational Health & Safety developments and new labour regulations.
✅ Business Intelligence tools and industry benchmarking through the Consortium’s new Power BI platform.
✅ And perhaps most importantly, an inspiring discussion about one of the biggest challenges facing industrial SMEs: attracting and retaining technical talent.
One message stood out above all: people will continue to be the key competitive advantage of our companies. Creating a positive working environment, developing clear career paths, caring for our teams, and building leadership based on trust will be just as important as investing in innovation and technology.
At LESOL, we remain committed to continuous improvement and to contributing to the growth and competitiveness of the rubber industry.
